There's something so special about the Yorkshire coast on a slightly gloomy day - the dramatic sky, rolling sea and my eldest boy's hair being swept by the wind. It was also the first time we've managed to successfully fly a kite thanks to the strong wind! We stayed at my mum's beautiful cottage and I love to document the children playing in the beautiful old windows and attic bedroom with it's old beams and the sound of seagulls overhead. The boys' jumpers are from Next and finding the rainbow kite for £2.50 from a seaside shop was just luck.
